When Matthew contacted me and told me the plan I instantly thought, "I KNEW IT!! YES!!" I was excited. However what Matthew didn't specify right away is that, "Eunice you must hike the hardest mountain ever that is never ending and feels like death, for this proposal." But I cant complain because the view up there was absolutely amazing!
I arrived at the mountain at about 6 a.m and began hiking up with two others. There's just something about the desert right before the sun comes out. So still and calm.
After 5746 hours we finally reached the top! It was crazyyy windy. It was nice seeing everyones reaction. Majority of the girls however, just got mad at their men for not bringing them flowers and setting up a picnic for them ( yikes! that's a long way down to be yelled at by your girlfriend LOL). The tip was also so steep when i dropped my lens cap it immediately rolled down the mountain :( Oh well at least it was just that.
The plan was that Matthew and Ita were just on a normal morning hike and that they "accidently" ran into their friend who was having picnik with his wife. However the wife had to turn around halfway to use the ladies room so Matthew and Ita were asked to stand guard while he runs down and finds her.
Then Ita began watering the roses for the wife so they dont die in the heat hahahah little did she know (;
